The Construction Documents Technologist Exam administered by the Construction Specifcations Institute teaches you how a project unfolds from conception to delivery (and allows you to put a few letters after your name!) It is also the pre-requisite to CSI’s advanced certification exams.
Software competencies are crucial in the architecture profession. You can help yourself get ahead by getting credentialed in leading software such as Autodesk Revit.
You may also want to think about taking some of the credentials offered through Lynda.com. NSAD has institutional access to Lynda which allows you to take Certificates of Completion. To create your account go to this site (http://www.lynda.com/email-signup) and enter your NSAD email address. You will then receive an email prompting you to create a profile.
