This Month's Topic: Pride

Richard P. Welsh Library celebrates Pride with a curated list of virtual resources uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices within art, architecture, design, anthropology, social sciences, and more. Book challenges and bans reached a fever pitch in 2021, with opposition targeting critical race theory and queer representation. In 2022, banning efforts have even spread to private booksellers like Barnes & Noble. Now more than ever, libraries celebrate Pride by championing free exchange of information and making space for marginalized queer voices.
